The fund began with therapy for survivors of the Nova festival, in memory of Elisha Rothfeld Hy”d. Survivors, and the people close to them, ask for help here.
Who can apply
Survivors of the Nova festival can ask for a therapy grant, a weekend retreat, or a study or work grant. You may apply on a survivor's behalf with their permission.
Yeshivot, ulpanot, mechinot, midrashot and Torah communities apply on the institution grant form.
Send your request
What we ask for a therapy grant
We ask for the therapist's license number and a short letter from the therapist confirming the plan. We never ask for medical records.
You do not attach anything to the form.
What happens next
- We reply within 10 days, in writing, to the email address you gave.
- A request for therapy, a retreat place or a study or work grant goes to the survivors committee, Dr. Orly Feinberg (chair), Adina Morgenstern and Dena Rothfeld. It meets every two weeks, and a therapy grant needs the approval of two of its three members (how decisions are made).
- For therapy, retreat and study or work requests, we send a decision in writing within 30 days of a complete application.
- If we approve a grant, we pay the therapist or the retreat program directly.
- We never share the names of survivors we help.
